Beyonce Has The UK Edition Of ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ Covered

“Best Thing I Never Had” diva Beyonce gets fashionable — well, even more so than usual — for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK. 4 fox Bey dons a shiny red dress, tugs her long ponytail and stares right at us with her blue eyeshadow-decorated eyes. So who do you think has the hotter September magazine cover — Bey on Harper’s or Jennifer Lopez on Vanity Fair?

Lea Michele is the September 2011 Harper’s Bazaar‘s cover girl.

Actress Lea Michele is the September 2011 Harper’s Bazaar‘s cover girl. Her photo shoot was shot by photographer Mark Seliger which amps up the glam.

Inside the magazine Lea talks about her career plans, castmates, and her relationship with her boyfriend, Theo Stockman. Here are a few highlights from the interview:

On her career: “I don’t stop,” Lea says. “It’s my nature. People have to tell me to slow down. I plan on playing every role on Broadway. . . . I want to do movies, make music. Glee is only the beginning.”

She gets called out for her unconventional features all the time, but Lea doesn’t let it bother her; if anything, she’s used to it: “How many managers told me, ‘Get a nose job. You’re not pretty enough’? But I proved them wrong.”

More from the interview and behind the scenes video…

But Lea knows one of the ways to stay in the game is having a sense of humor. The Glee movie hits theaters in August. “In 3-D,” she says, laughing, “my nose is going to look fabulous.”

On rumors that she’s a diva like her character: “People have to remember this is all new for us,” Lea says. “We’re all reasonably young, except for Cory [Monteith], who’s old.” (He’s 29.) “I’ve learned some lessons,” she continues. “But people are going to say what they want to say. I know who I am, and I’m not perfect.”

Lea and her boyfriend, Theo Stockman, lead a quiet existence in West Hollywood: “I have a small life,” she says. Besides hanging out with her Glee castmates—“I just want to be around them all day”—on a typical night, she and Stockman “cook dinner, have wine.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Covers Marie Claire

Sarah Jessica Parker covers the September issue of Marie Claire, looks ultra glam, but she says she’s not like that in real life. “I never wanted to be a celebrity; I never wanted to be famous. And in my daily life, I work really hard to not trade on it in any way,” she said.

Check out some of the highlights from her interview:

On a Page Six item claiming she complained about being called for jury duty: “For Page Six to be so cavalier – I was so outraged by the character assassination! I have served so many times, I was asked to come speak at Jury Appreciation Day! I expect I should be more calloused by now, but I am so sensitive about not ever living up to anybody’s worst idea about an actor who is well-known.”

On not wanting to be a celebrity: “I never wanted to be a celebrity; I never wanted to be famous. And in my daily life, I work really hard to not trade on it in any way. I am so desperately worried about anybody saying, ‘She cut in line’ or ‘She took our table’ or She got out of jury duty’ or ‘She doesn’t do her own grocery shopping.’ The things that bother me are counter to who I am and the way I live. It’s not like it’s hard to be decent and respectful and well-behaved. I do wait in line, and I do take the subway, and I do do my own grocery shopping, and I do take the kids to school.”

Jessica Alba: Lucky September 2011 Covergirl

Adding yet another cover gig to her already impressive credentials, Jessica Alba adorns the front page of the September 2011 issue of Lucky.

The expecting actress was dressed up in Marc Jacobs for the magazine's latest installment, which is set to hit newsstands on Tuesday, August 9th.

In the accompanying interview, the 30-year-old Hollywood hottie opens up about topics ranging from her superhero role to all things pregnancy related.

On her pregnancy diet: "I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered. But I also work out, so basically I’m starving—it sucks. I drink a lot of water.”

On her post-baby fitness efforts: “Working out every day for even just 45 minutes is good for my mental state. But getting (dressed) and actually doing it is the worst. It’s hard to get motivated.”

On her favorite gym distractions: “In the gym, I have like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out.”

On her superhero roles: “I pretended to be a superhero when I was a kid. I thought, if boys can do it, I can do it, I can do it better!”

On her strong-willed nature: “There’s a video of me when I’m three, saying ‘This is a woman’s world, and I don’t need a man for nothin’!’”

Jennifer Lopez Talks To ‘Vanity Fair’ Post-Divorce Announcement

Jennifer Lopez told Vanity Fair that she still believes in love and is not giving up on her “biggest dream.”

Just weeks after announcing her split from husband Marc Anthony, the actress, who is featured on the cover of the magazine’s September issue, talked about her relationship with Anthony, other past relationships, her children and her outlook on life.

“Sometimes it doesn’t work—and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love,” Lopez told Vanity Fair. “It’s still my biggest dream. I am positive—determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.”

Although she admitted that staying with Anthony would not be right for her, she doesn’t seem to have any bitter feelings towards him.“I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer,” Lopez said. “We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic—and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

The September issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands nationwide on August 9. In the mean time, check out JLo’s cover, Vanity Fair photos, and some shots of her on the set of her next film, What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Then, let us know what you think by posting in the comments section below
